THERE IS NO VICTOR BUT ALLAH (لا غالب إلا الله) – Maras Work, a Composition Inspired by Calligraphic Aesthetics

Artwork Details:
This artwork is a special calligraphic piece featuring the phrase “Lâ Gâlibe İllâllah” (لا غالب إلا الله), which is frequently used in Islamic art, particularly in the architectural decorations of the Alhambra Palace in Andalusia. Prepared with a classical composition close to the Thuluth script aesthetic, the writing is crafted within a circular and stacked calligraphic arrangement. The word Allah, located in the upper part of the composition, emphasizes the central meaning of the text. The stacked letters in the middle form the calligraphic style of the phrase “Lâ Gâlibe İllâ”. The calligraphic lines rising on the right and left sides frame the composition, giving it an upward movement. The circular structure presents an aesthetic arrangement symbolizing unity and integrity in classical calligraphy.
