Work Details:
This rare tablecloth, dating back approximately 60 years, is embroidered on dark ecru-toned linen fabric using a black machine-embroidered technique. The motif, with its elegantly structured sleeve structure, is enriched with the azure and winding technique of the whitework tradition. A central hub detail is located at the very center of the 190 cm diameter round form, and the edges are finished with a scalloped shape. The entire perimeter of the tablecloth is bordered with French lace, hand-crocheted with gold glitter and silk thread. Furthermore, the entire tablecloth is colored with embellishments made with French lace in sections following the motif's pattern.
