The lace motif, measuring 48 * 108 cm, was knitted in a single piece with ecru colored knitting yarn and crocheted by hand in the 1970s. The edges and upper motifs were colored by hand using various embroidery techniques and colored embroidery threads, and then mounted on a tan colored silk fay fabric. The four edges of the work are decorated with colored grout knitted by hand crochet.
