This skirt, where a lace that has been passed down from generation to generation comes to life in a timeless form, is not just a garment, but also a personal memory. The flared form, worked in an eight-piece A-line cut from black and white floral poplin fabric, hugs the body elegantly. While the hem is framed with a black band and French lace; the hand-knitted white lace, approximately 50-60 years old, added on top, provides both function and meaning in the form of a pocket. The inside is lined.
