Work Details:
The 21 cm diameter wooden hoop is completely hand crocheted with white orlon thread. In the center of the hoop is a vintage lace square with 21 cm edges, knitted with demse crochet thread in the 1960s. The lace is placed so that its edges spill out gracefully from the hoop and a white silk satin ribbon is passed through the lace's openwork to create a delicate decoration.
The cords, which are handmade with cordonnet thread in beige and blue tones, are fixed to the edge of the lace all around the hoop and provide an aesthetic frame to the design. The lower ends are decorated with colored silk satin ribbons and various types of bird feathers.
