Work Details:
The 31 cm diameter wooden hoop is elegantly wrapped with cream colored silk satin ribbon; the top surface is machine embroidered with silk thread and gold glitter in the style of Chinese needle in the 1980s, mounted on an ecru organza background. The hoop is elegantly surrounded by ecru vintage French lace placed in a slightly ruffled manner.
In accordance with the spirit of the embroidery, hand-twisted cord with gold glitter and ecru silk thread was applied to the entire circumference by shaping it.
In the center, there is a motif crocheted in the 1960s, and the composition is completed by surrounding it with a green silk satin ribbon. The cotton colored satin ribbon, French lace, bird feathers and hand-twisted cords used at the lower end make this design both balanced and fascinating.
