Work Details:
The 23 cm diameter wooden hoop is hand-wrapped and covered with brown and yellow mercerized threads. The main theme in the center of the cover is a 15 cm diameter lace motif crocheted with rose-colored floss thread with flounced edges, and an antique lace made with a shuttle technique from the 1950s mounted on it.
These two laces are connected with an antique shuttle lace. The combination of three separate handmade works is fixed to the hoop by hand knitting with a net yarn and an elegant accent is made by passing a blue silk satin ribbon to the center of this net structure.
The edge of the hoop is decorated with handmade shuttle lace in yellow, red and green tones; the lower part is completed with green silk satin ribbons, hand-knitted ribbon cords in the form of braids and natural bird feathers.
