Work Details:
The 31 cm diameter wooden hoop is covered with hand crocheted shiny molina thread in milky coffee tones. In the center of the hoop; there is a 23 x 23 cm square shaped, motif-shaped showcase lace, hand crocheted with demse thread in the 1920s. This lace is mounted angularly in the center of the work with pink-green lace made with the shuttle technique in the 1960s.
The lace is surrounded by green and pink silk satin ribbons, giving the design a delicate movement. The upper part is decorated with a decorative motif with pompom pendants, hand-knitted in floss yarn in the 1970s.
The lower part of the dreamcatcher features sectional crochet lace from the 1920s; the lower end is enriched with vintage bows, silk satin ribbons, beads, handmade antique shuttle lace and natural bird feathers.
