Work Details:
This special dream catcher, built on a 31 cm diameter wooden frame, brings together many period craftsmanships from the 1920s to the 1970s in the same composition. The edge of the frame is covered with a shiny molina yarn in a milky coffee color by hand crocheting. The 23 cm square shaped window decoration lace in the center was crocheted in a motif form in the 1920s and fixed to the frame in an angular shape with a hand-made shuttle lace in the 1960s.
This vintage lace has been finished with silk satin ribbons in shades of green and pink, to create an aesthetic whole. A motif with hand-knitted floss yarn and pompoms is fixed to the upper part of the lace in the 1970s.
The lower section is decorated with crocheted lace from the 1920s; the lower end is enriched with vintage bows, silk satin ribbons, beads, antique handcrafted shuttle lace and bird feathers.
