The Loop of Time – Decorative Cover Adapted from Antique Crochet Motifs

This unique piece has been adapted from antique hand-knitted crochet lace motifs from the 1970s into a modern design.
Twelve antique crochet motifs have been carefully appliquéd onto the center of the thick white alpaca linen fabric. 37 motifs from the same collection have been machine-stitched along the edges of the cover, creating a double-sided cover that is both elegant and functional.
This work, which brings together handcraftsmanship and historical texture, reflects both the delicacy of the past and the simple aesthetics of today.
