Work Details:
This unique work, created by assembling a white, hand-crocheted motif in a net form onto patterned flannel fabric, is designed both as an amulet and a decorative good-luck object. The edges are adorned with hand-crocheted mirror details, sequins, and cut beads; the lower sections are decorated with colorful broadcloth flowers and beaded pendants adorned with seven different floral forms crafted from satin fabrics. The back of the work is lined with patterned flannel fabric, and all edges are hand-crocheted. Completed with a special hand-made wall hanging device, this work is enriched with objects that carry positive energy and was produced in a boutique style at the AYRAL SANAT Gallery Handicrafts Workshop.
